To set up a new Fireadmin project, you enter a name and provide the settings for initializing the Firebase SDK. You can find those in the Firebase console for your project. The values are exactly the same, as the ones you’re using for connecting with your own apps.
After adding the connection details, you can use our data modeling tool to describe the structure of your database. Basis of this structure are your “root” collections (i.e. the first children of your database). All collections can, on their turn, be described with attributes of the following types: string, number, boolean, date, text, array, object and reference.
Before heading to the newly generated admin panel, add the email addresses of the users that you want to grant access to the Fireadmin dashboard.
From the project overview page, you can launch your Fireadmin dashboard. Before logging into the generated admin interface for your project, you have to authenticate yourself with Firebase i.e. provide an email and password that is registered in your Firebase project.
You will only be redirected to the actual dashboard if the login succeeds and the email for the logged in user is on the access list.
In your Fireadmin dashboard, you’ll see all the collections that you’ve added. Every “root” collection can be managed through its own page. This page contains a table with all the attributes you provided that allows for easy filtering. New items can easily added to the collections, through a form rendered from the data structure that you configured. Existing items can be updated and deleted as well.
